petraeus to resign. the relationship between him and his biographer paula broadwell was uncovered in an investigation. members of congress have complained they were not informed of the findings until just after the election. as head of the cia, petraeus oversaw the agency's use of drones for targeted killings abroad and had recently pushed the white house to push for a major expansion for the agency's drone fleet. petraeus also oversaw the search of troops over president bush and also commanded coalition troops in afghanistan. in a letter to the cia, petraeus said of the extra marital affair, "such behavior is unacceptable as a husband and a leader of an organization such as ours." in news from afghanistan, a british shoulder -- soldier has been shot by an insider wearing an afghan uniform. international forces returned fire, killing a member of the afghan army. it is not clear whether the man they killed was the original shooter. more than 60 soldiers with the u.s.-led note -- into a coalition have been killed this year. meanwhile, 10 afghan civilians died in three separate roadside
